Tea with Tom
I had the pleasure of meeting Sue back in October at the White Memoirs wedding fayre. I was absolutely over the moon with my stall placement as I was directly next to one of her magnificent dessert tables. The smell of macarons, brownies, victoria sponges, cupcakes (the list is endless) had my mouth watering all day!
I asked Sue why the company was called Tea with Tom – who was Tom? She told me a lovely story of how her children differentiated their grandmas by their respective partners – so Tom was actually Granny Tom. Granny Tom taught Sue and her daughter Cheryl to bake as children, I must say she did a splendid job. I was really touched at the meaning behind the companies name and I’m sure Granny Tom would be super proud 🙂
Sue and Cheryl are having an exciting year of change over at TWT head quarters and are concentrating their skills on dessert tables, celebration cakes and loose leaf teas. I can’t recommend their baking skills highly enough (after sampling their yummy produce) here’s where you can find out more:
